A great way to try to overcome gambling addiction is to allow someone close to you to control your finances for a period of time.  By doing this you can set it up so that you gradually gamble less and less until you have overcome the gambling addiction entirely.

 

Avoid Environments

Try to avoid particular environments where you know there is gambling going on.  If you take a normal route each day past a casino change it so that you do not.  One of the best ways to overcome a gambling addiction is to stay away from the sources of gambling.
